IDE Themes

A new dark mode reduces eye strain and improves focus. Customize syntax coloring to suit your preferences.

Faster Performance

Work faster in "Solution" mode with up to 50% lower memory usage, faster loading time, flexible incremental build control to save time during run and debug.

Enhanced Navigation

Instantly jump to functions, variables and classes using keyboard shortcuts or Ctrl+Click, and navigate quickly with bookmarks and cursor history for faster code exploration.

Enhanced AutoScript

Autocomplete now supports enum members, global functions, variables, and structures—making coding faster and reducing errors.

Real-Time Syntax Checking

Detect syntax errors as you type, without waiting for compilation.

Built-in Git Commands

Perform Git Fetch and Rebase directly in the IDE, with the active branch name displayed in the status bar for clear project context.

Built-in Runtime Localization

Deploy PowerBuilder runtime localization files with your app, switch runtime languages on the fly, and customize runtime messages as needed.

Enable SafeSEH, DEP, ASLR, and CFG in all Appeon-compiled executables, including PowerBuilder, PowerClient, and PowerServer, to defend against memory-based attacks.

PowerClient & PowerServer Security

Built-in Windows Authentication support allows apps to use users’ existing Windows login for seamless and secure sign-in.

IPv6 Support

PowerBuilder runtime and deployed apps now fully support IPv6 networks, ensuring modern connectivity, compliance, and compatibility with evolving IT infrastructures.

CrypterObject Enhancements

Added support for AES-GCM (with AAD) and RSA-PSS signatures, bringing modern cryptography, with expanded SHA2/SHA3 hashing support.
