In this Webcast, Marco Meoni, an Appeon expert, will demonstrate a practical approach to SOAP Web Service development in PowerBuilder, Appeon Web and Mobile. A number of practical examples will show how to consume a publicly available WS from both PB desktop and Appeon Web & Mobile clients, outlining the differences from the PB code perspective. Proxy objects and WS DataWindows will be demonstrated. The examples will then show how to create our own WS that connects to a database and returns elementary data types, recordset based on query parameters or even a result blob.
