3. Installing PowerBuilder 2019

The PowerBuilder Universal Edition installation package can install the PowerBuilder IDE, the PowerServer (PB Edition), and SnapDevelop (PB Edition).

Offline installer failed to start

If you are running the offline installer on a machine with Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, the offline installer may fail to start (it does not respond at all when it’s double-clicked). This problem occurs because the server certificate has been updated, and the installer timestamp signature or certificate could not be verified in certain OS (Windows 7 or Window Server 2008 R2) unless Internet connection is available.

Solution: In such case, you will need to make sure the machine has Internet connection, and then try to run the offline installer again. If the machine cannot have Internet connection, please contact Appeon Technical Support for a solution.

Note that:
1) Before selecting to install PowerServer (PB Edition), please read the PowerServer Readme and PowerServer Settings files carefully first.
2)
If you plan to install PowerBuilder and InfoMaker on the same computer, make sure the PowerBuilder version is identical with the InfoMaker version.

Step 1: Double click Autorun.exe in the universal edition installation package.

Step 2: Click the Install button on the start page.

Step 3: Click Next to proceed.

Step 4: On the License Agreement page, accept the terms in the license agreement page and click Next.
