Hi Kelly,

Either developing or building apps in PowerBuilder requires PowerBuilder to be installed on the machine. So a full installation of
PowerBuilder is required on every server performing these builds.

And please note PowerBuilder supports Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 runtime only, but not development.
You can read more about this compatibility at page 3 of:
https://www.appeon.com/system/files/product-manual/installation_guide_for_pb_0.pdf

Alternatively, you may use PBC for the builds. This does not require PB installation on the machine. It is located in %PB Install Path%\Appeon\PowerBuilder 17.0\AutoCompiler, for example, C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon\PowerBuilder 17.0\AutoCompiler. You may first read through the PDF help there for more information.

Regards,
Ken

Currently we are building our application using CCNET with PowerBuilder installed locally on the machine that is performing the builds. What would be required to migrate this to a TeamCity server? Would a full installatoin of PowerBuilder be required on every server performing these builds?
