Hi Ken,
I'm sorry but I cannot test this, as my development-director has decided were not going to install the MR, unless something really goes very wrong for us.
regards.

Hi Miguel & Aron;

  Thank you for the R3 test case! I can see the same variation in R3 that you are reporting.

  I will now transfer this ticket over to the main Support / Engineering team for their review and feedback on this R3 change of the TAB / TabPage behaviour.

Regards ... Chris

TabSize2019.zip (9KB)

On our production app, with whatever settings it has for fonts and tab controls, the difference is quite large meaning the datawindow control which is on top of the tab control (we use a single datawindow, and then switching tabs changes the dataobject) overlaps half of the bottom tab after migrating to PB 2019 R3 2703. See atatached images for examples of how it looked before, how it looked after, and an attempt at measuring the tab header height using Paint. Comparing the two window source codes indicates they are indeticalt, just drawn differently.

I have also attahced a demo, which doesn't have such a pronounced problem but if you look closely you can see the difference.

This requires us to identify and fix all multiline tabbed controls in or many applications :-(

Thank you.

*Phenomenon:
After migrating to pb 2019 from 2017, vertical height of tabpage labels is incremented.
Please see:
https://community.appeon.com/index.php/qna/q-a/powerbuilder-2019-tab-control-tab-headers-larger-now
On that page, there's also a link in the last answer to a video that illustrates the problem.

*Reproduce Steps:
Migrate a pb 2017 app to 2019 and observe the slight increment in height of the tabpage labels.
