Hi Chris,

“Dockable windows become obsolete at the release of PowerBuilder 2019 R2. Obsolete features are no longer eligible for technical support and will no longer be enhanced. Customers who use dockable windows in their applications can choose to continue using the feature without support or migrate to normal floating windows.”

Can we close this ticket?

Regards,
Ken

Example of what needs to be enhanced to make Dockable MDI windows PB App friendly for both Uni-lingual and Multi-lingual development for the production business users.
Chris Pollach @Appeon 09 March, 2018
*Phenomenon: When running your PB2017R2 applications in "Dockable" mode, the system does not allow the PB app to supply the correct Uni-lingual or Multi-Lingual values for the Docked Window's drop down. This is a *major* flaw in PB 2017's Dockable architecture / feature set.

*Reproduce Steps: Download the example test case application ..... https://sourceforge.net/projects/stdfndclass/files/Applications/PowerBuilder/OrderEntry

Remark: PB Apps' need to control all aspects of any drop-down, hover text (PowerTip text), etc on any MDI Dockable Frame based App like they can on Standard MDI frame based App's.
