Hi, The issue remains , it is not possible for us to upgrade the pb version now. It is possible to give you the ability to share screen with us and to see the problem happens . Is this an option? thanks tamar

Hi Tamar, I’m not sure if this would work for you but I suggest you try this resolution, based on the experience that some customers solved their crash issue in this way: I suggest you add the following to the pb.ini file: [Data Window] Accessibility=0 [DataStore Behavior] UseHwnd=no If the issue remains, can you provide an environment that can reproduce this issue for us to analyze? Regards, Ken

Hi, I added the pb.ini file the [data window] accessibility and also run the application in window 7 compatible mode , it did not help . We are working with offline license , on upgrade version we will have to renew the license and it is complicated . Are you sure that it will solve the problem? Thanks Tamar.

Hi, We do not have touch screen, but we have an application that allowed to share the screen with another user and it allowed the other user to control our screen. I will do what ken suggested . Thanks, Tamar.

Tamar, We had similar issues. Do these users have touchscreen monitors? We found that users with touchscreens would be able to re-produce quicker but not consistently. They would get huge performance issues and sometimes crashes because of the UIAutomation.dll. Doing what Ken suggested fixed those issues. We upgraded to 2728 and included all those entries in the PB.INI file. Chris Craft

Hi Tamar, 1. I’m not asking you to run the application in Windows 7 OS. I mean running the application in the Compatibility mode, steps for example: 1). Open the Properties window of the yourapp.exe file. 2). Set the Compatibility Mode to Windows 7 on the Compatibility page. 3). Run the application again. 2. You can refer to the instructions in the link below to upgrade PB online. After upgrading to PB 2019 R3 Build 2728, please refer to my earlier reply to add a pb.ini file to the directory where the exe resides and see if it solves the problem. https://docs.appeon.com/pb2021/installation_guide_for_pb/online_installation.html Regards, Ken

Hi Tamar, Does this issue happen randomly or does it always happen? I suggest you try this: 1. Upgrade PB 2019 R3 to PB 2019 R3 Build 2728. 2. Add a pb.ini file to the directory where your PBapp.exe resides, and this file contains the following content. [Data Window] ACCESSIBILITY=0 3. Try running your application in Windows 7 Compatible mode and see if it works. 4. If the issue remains, can you provide a small example case that can reproduce this issue for us to analyze? Regards, Ken
