Hi Uri,

According to our latest verification, the mouse wheel scroll issues you mentioned, also exist in PB IDE even though you don't use the tools like MSTSC.

For such kind of issue, we can only handle it as a requirement rather than a bug.

According to our one issue one ticket policy, it is recommended you reopen a ticket as a requirement for us to transfer it to the product team for consideration. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Mark Lee

(in addition to my comment #13)
The mouse wheel does not scroll the function and parameters definition panel
at the top of script painters, too.
the mouse wheel affects the Pass By and Argument Type drop-downs, but it would be more intuitive if it would scroll the whole panel (when there is a scrollbar to the right of the panel).

dll for version 2670

Hi Uri,

1. Just a note on older versions of PB. The SAP / Appeon agreement does not
allow Appeon to support older versions of PB or IM. So we can't provide the
related DLLs based on PB 9.0, PB 12.0, and PB 12.5 for you.

2. Our developers have fixed the issue in the codebase. There are PBWED.dll
files based on PB 2019 R3 build 2670 and 2703 separately in the attachment,
please do the replacement accordingly.
Please replace the PBWED.dll (default directory is: C:\Program Files
(x86)\Appeon\PowerBuilder 19.0\IDE) with the related one.
Please back up your old file before replacing it.
After that please restart the computer and see if it works on your side.

BTW, we haven't fully tested the fix yet, so we suggest that you do some
more IDE functionality-related tests to verify if there are still any
issues.
Thanks!

Best regards,
Mark Lee
Hello Mark As far as my tests show, the issue was well fixed. thank you! A comment: I noticed additional painters and windows in the IDE where the mouse wheel does not scroll: in the datawindow painter - the design panel and the todo list. I tested these in a remote connection setup (MSTSC and for the datawindow painter also TeamViewer). Your attention to these would be appreciated. Best regards Uri

Hi Uri, Ricardo & Andre,

Our development team has made some progress on this issue.
We are currently testing the fix for this bug internally and wondering if it
is possible that you could test it as well
and let us know if it works for you before we finalize it in future product
releases.
If you'd like to, please let us know the PB version (is it PB 2019 Build
2703?) you are currently using so we can provide the related DLLs based on
the correct version (you just need to replace several DLLs to begin the
test) for the test.
Many thanks in advance.

Mark Lee
Hello Mark! Good news, Thanks for the update! I am currently using PB 2019 R3 I'm not sure about the Build, it was 2556 when I reported the bug but since then we installed the GA release (the email announcement says build 2670). I don't work today, I'll check that out on Sunday. I am currently using other environments too - PB 9.0, PB 12.0 and PB 12.5. If the fix could support them I'll be glad to test on them too. Best regards Uri

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your answer.
I did forget to mention I am using MSTSC to connect.
Could you fix this bug ?

Hi Uri,

Thanks for reporting this problem.
I can't reproduce it on our side in my physical machine.
Are you using the MSTSC to connect to your machine or another way?
If yes, then this is a bug which also occurs in PB 12.6.

Regards,
Mark Lee

*Phenomenon:
The mouse wheel does not scroll through script texts in the editor painters (object scripts, text editor, etc.) - It makes programming so much clumsier!
Fixing this feature would enhance my productivity and I assume other programmers feel the same.

*Reproduce Steps:

Remarks:
Previous versions of Powerbuilder had the same problem.
OS:
Windows 10
Platform:
64-bit
Database Type:
