Hi Mike,

PB datawindow does NOT support CTE. We'll transfer this enhancement to our product team for consideration.

to be clear I am not asking for a work around.,  i am asking for datawindows to support this directly.

   standard sql should work in a datawindow.   i am asking for the datawindow to work with current sql standards

*Phenomenon:
Unable to use common table expressions - CTE - in a datawindow

*Reproduce Steps:
write a CTE query and get it working in a datawindow.
the datawindow will not show any columns


Remarks:
CTE was added to the SQL99
