Hi Jiri;

  I am sorry that the PBNI PowerBuilder example is not on Appeon's exchange website. We tried to port as much material from the Sybase site when we took over PB from SAP. It's possible that SAP did not provide us with that material.

 There is a great three part write-up on PBNI from Roy Kiesler. Check out this link: http://roykiesler.ulitzer.com/node/42615

 Roland Smith is a great resource to tap for PBNI. You can contact him on the Appeon Community at https://community.appeon.com. He has done a lot of work with the PBNI interface and built many utilities based on that technology ... http://www.topwizprogramming.com/index.html

Dear Chris,
thank you for the link. We tried to search the info we need, but it is not there.

Please, do you have an example or description step by step,
how to create a PBNI (Power Builder Native Interface) visual or non visual component using Visual Studio 2017?

thank you in advance.
best regards
Jiri

Hi Jiri;

  Many of the Sybase examples were transferred over to the Appeon CodeXChange equivalent area. Please have a look here for an example: https://community.appeon.com/index.php/codexchange/codexchange

We need to view PDF.
At present we are testing with our customer PBNI interface - visual extension.
Unfortunately, we have no example that works.
The examples that were available at http://powerbuilder.codexchange.sybase.com/
no longer exist.
We tried find some example from internet.
But we can't compile it under Microsoft Visual Studio 2017.
Please, do you have an example or description step by step, how to create a functional PBNI component using Visual Studio 2017,
optionally using a Borland C ++ builder?
Thank you. Best regards Jiri Ptacek
