1. I don't need to provide credentials to download something from the browser, but connection parameters in the browser indicates an URL for automatic proxy configuration. The URL is "http://proxy-http.[...]/proxy-spw.pac".

2. It may be possible that such settings would allow me to download your products, but I don't know exactly how such proxy settings are working so I can't affirm 100%.

Hi Pierre,

It appears that you need to provide credential for your proxy to download files.

So we want to know:
1. Do you need to enter you credential everytime you download something from your browser? Or do you need to configure your proxy somewhere on your machine?
2. If we add settings for proxy on AppeonInstaller, do you think you can enter your proxy and credential for downloading and installing our products?

If you could help to further verify the issue, we want you to try download
this file: 
https://file.appeon.com/download/APB/2019/AppeonInstaller/AppeonInstaller.zip

Unzip it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon\Appeon Installer 2019\ and start
AppeonInstaller.exe in this folder. If you get any issue again, please send
zip the log sub folder in Appeon Installer 2019 folder for analysis.

Hi Tom, Yes the installation succeded following the procedure you gave me on 03 june. Nevertheless I uninstalled PB 2019, downloaded AppeonInstaller.zip and started AppeonInstaller.exe to install again but it failed (see log files). Pierre

Hi Pierre,

Please use the following steps to get the intall package from a machine that has no such restrictions.
 
Please run AppoenInstaller using the following link:
http://file.appeon.com/download/APB/2019/AppeonInstaller/AppeonInstaller_bootstrapper.exe

When you get into the welcome page, you can choose Download Offline Installer, where you can choose which products you want to download. 

After the download is complete, you will see two folders that can be used for new install or upgrade respectively. 

You can copy the folder with the word FULL at the end of its name (full package) to any machine for new installation. 

You can copy the folder with the word MR at the end of its name (upgrade package) to upgrade a machine where you already have PB 2019 Beta installed.

BTW, can you send us the log file in the RarSFX* folder in your %Temp% folder so our developer can analyze the cause of this issue.

*Phenomenon: 
Error message launching the installer bootstrat : Failed to download the updated Appeon Installer. Please check your network connection.

*Reproduce Steps:
Double-click on AppeonInstaller_bootstrapper.exe. The message displays immediately.

Remarks:
My PC is behind an enterprise firewall wich I cannot avoid.
