Hi Richard;

 I do like your idea of an include/exclude Theme on various objects as a property. That is an interesting suggestion.

 I will now transfer this ticket over to the Support Team for their feedback and recommendations to Engineering on these aspects. Maybe, Engineering can make the DWO "heading" vs "detail", vs "summary" vs "footer" bands more defining within a Theme.

 Lets see what they say.

Regards ... Chris

Hi Richard;

  The Themes feature already affects DWO's header (see my attached test)

Remarks: Specifically limiting the ability to modify the header (or specific band behavior) for grid datawindows only seems arbitrarily specific. We do not use grid datawindows and the ability to uniformly update all of our non-report datawindow header and footer background colors would be a welcome feature.

If the issue is determining a report versus non-report datawindow, perhaps toggles in theme.json for if the report's print preview checkbox is selected?

Perhaps a long term feature request could simply be a checkbox on every visual object for if it should ignore theme.json?
